Work Experience

Marketing Coordinator: Hired to assist with the complete re-design of the company website and marketing tasks. Maintained social media accounts, including Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+. Developed reports and analytics to inform SEO, Marketing, and Sales decisions. Created marketing material, such as brochures, handouts, presentations, and other design as needed. Transitioned into Marketing Coordinator role. Created marketing budgets, brainstormed new company initiatives, organized tradeshow and event registrations, planned/executed advertisements and other campaigns.

Customer Service Representative: Hired as cashier, later trained for customer service desk. Eventually trained as cash supervisor, and trained for various accounting tasks. Provided positive customer service to clients. Processed refunds, sold lottery, answered the phone. Acted as Department Manager in evenings, managed cashiers and breaks. Responsible for bringing cash drawers into office, auditing, and processing store closure. Deposited cash as necessary each night.

Digital Marketing (Canadian Marketing Association): This course focused on marketing in the digital space. Covered topics included web design, social media, newsletters, SEO, Google Ads and Analytics, effective methods of digital advertising, A/B testing, and many more.

Web Design (Humber College): This program focused on designing websites. Course material included learning the proper methods and practices for Web Design. Learned HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and more.

Fine Arts (University of Waterloo): Studied in Business program before transferring to Fine Arts. The program focused on design principles and art skills. Learned many skills in digital arts classes, such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Focused on digital artwork.
